L'huile Anti-Âge : Pourquoi l’adopter ?

Anti-Aging oil: Why adopt it?

In a world where anti-aging solutions abound, anti-aging oil stands out as a true elixir of youth. Used alone or combined with facial self-massage gestures, it presents itself as the new solution to adopt to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and plump the skin. Oils, creams, what to choose? If facial oils are multiplying, we should not see this as a fashion phenomenon but rather as an advance in the cosmetics sector, in fact, numerous scientific studies support the benefits of these oils: more hydrated, plumper skin. , revived collagen production…but what makes anti-aging oil so special?

Oils rich in antioxidants

Anti-aging facial oils are often rich in antioxidants such as vitamins C and E. These components fight free radicals which are known to accelerate skin aging. A study published in the "Journal of Investigative Dermatology" reveals that antioxidants can reduce damage caused by UV rays and pollution. Using an oil rich in antioxidants nourishes the skin by providing it with the dose of lipids necessary for its proper functioning while protecting it from external aggressions.

Moisturizing properties

Hydration is essential to maintain skin elasticity. Oils, such as argan and rosehip oil, are rich in essential fatty acids that help retain moisture.  Applied to the skin after your usual skincare routine, the oil will create a protective film on the surface of the skin and thus prevent the phenomenon of transepidermal water loss. Result ? The skin is more supple when you wake up and fine lines fade.

A natural collagen production booster

Collagen gives the skin its firmness. Grapeseed oil, for example, is known to stimulate collagen production thanks to its high concentration of proanthocyanidins. According to research published in "Experimental Dermatology", proanthocyanidins increase collagen production and help prevent sagging skin (Ndiaye, Philippe, Mukhtar and Ahmad, 2011). To boost the effects of your anti-aging oil, we advise you to perform a few self-massage gestures to drain the face and stimulate the cells responsible for collagen production.

Anti-Inflammatory properties

Skin inflammations can accelerate skin aging. Oils like jojoba oil or tamanu oil have anti-inflammatory properties. We therefore advise you to identify your needs and find a suitable oil or opt for a cocktail of natural oils for the face which will target a broader spectrum.

The little extra?

Facial oils are versatile and can be easily incorporated into any skincare routine. They are ideal for self-massage which is known to reduce tension accumulated in facial muscles, revive lymphatic function and smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
