Quels sont les actifs les plus efficaces contre les cernes et les poches ?

What are the most effective active ingredients against dark circles and bags?

The skin around the eyes is the thinnest on the face, making it more vulnerable to external aggressions and signs of aging. Taking care of this sensitive area is therefore essential to have luminous eyes and refreshed features.

Hyaluronic acid

Naturally present in our body, hyaluronic acid plays an essential role in keeping the skin hydrated, firm and elastic. However, over time, our natural production of hyaluronic acid decreases, making the skin less supple and duller, this is one of the factors of skin aging.

To prevent the appearance of dark circles and bags and treat them, hyaluronic acid is an effective active ingredient because it provides intense hydration to the skin around the eyes. This can help reduce the appearance of puffiness by reducing fluid retention and smoothing the skin. By deeply hydrating, it also helps restore skin elasticity, which can reduce the appearance of dark circles by minimizing skin sagging. This active ingredient is also known to stimulate elastin synthesis for smoothed and softened skin.

Recognized as a central stimulant of the nervous system, caffeine is often used in the form of drinks to combat fatigue. But this active ingredient is even more interesting in topical application. Used locally, it helps reduce the appearance of bags and dark circles.

Indeed, thanks to its small molecular size, it easily penetrates the skin and helps reduce the diameter of blood vessels. This is more commonly called vasoconstriction. The blood vessels tighten, which helps boost blood microcirculation and thus reduce the accumulation of blood in the small vessels located just under the eyes. This helps to reduce the appearance of dark circles because this phenomenon reduces their pigmentation.

In addition, thanks to its draining properties, caffeine significantly reduces swelling and inflammation around the eyes, thus helping to reduce puffiness. It is therefore for all these effects that we have chosen caffeine as the key active ingredient in our VeinoBoost complex - the complex at the heart of our new product: the Anti-fatigue Eye Serum .

Vitamin B3

Vitamin B3, also known as niacinamide, is one of the eight B vitamins in the B complex. It plays a crucial role in various biological processes in the human body, including maintaining skin health.

Applied to the eye area, this vitamin stimulates collagen synthesis, strengthens the skin's barrier function, protects against the harmful effects of UV rays and fights against skin hyperpigmentation. This active ingredient is therefore of particular interest to us for its action on the pigmentation of dark circles, which is often one of the main problems around the eyes. With regular application, niacinamide lightens dark circles by preventing the production of melanin. In addition, it helps maintain or restore normal flow in the blood capillaries through a vasculoprotective effect.

Green tea

Rich in antioxidants, green tea is an essential active ingredient for reducing the appearance of dark circles and bags under the eyes. The use of its leaves in cosmetic products aims to protect the eye area from external aggressions. Thus, thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, green tea reduces swelling and therefore puffiness. It also helps neutralize free radicals, which can damage the skin and accelerate skin aging. By protecting the skin from oxidative damage, it also helps maintain healthier, younger-looking skin.

Finally, the catechins in green tea leaves inhibit excess melanin production, helping to brighten the skin and reduce the appearance of pigmented dark circles. Green tea will also brighten the eyes by soothing the skin around the eyes and reducing irritation and redness.
