What is a serum and why is it important?
The serum is a concentrate of active ingredients that prepares the skin for the application of your Appointment routine. Unlike creams, serums have a lighter, more fluid texture, enabling them to be absorbed very quickly by the epidermis, which is why they are so important. There are as many serums as there are skin problems, so you can adapt your routine by using, for example, a moisturizing serum on the lower face and a mattifying anti-blemish serum on the T-zone if you have combination to oily skin.

Face serum or moisturizer?
Both! While the serum provides the skin with a bonus in the form of active ingredients to treat a specific problem, the cream is there to balance it out by providing the dose of lipids and moisture it needs. Using a universal or neutral moisturizing cream and a serum makes it easy to adapt your routine and treat the skin locally.

When should I apply my serum?
The serum is the first product to be applied once the skin has been cleansed. We advise you to apply it just after drying the face, to take advantage of dilated pores to boost absorption. You can use a serum in the morning and evening, alternating the active ingredients according to your skin's needs (menstrual cycle, season, feelings).
