Let's take back the power over our genes!
It's one of the most important biological revolutions of the last few decades, and by the way, it's sure to restore our faith... in ourselves! It's called epigeneticsand it's actually quite simple: we now know that we can influence the expression of our genes and have an impact on our future - that of our skin, as well as that of our entire life.
Farewell to fatality, and long live taking our destiny into our own hands. That's the positive message from Michel Crepin, renowned researcher and Professor of Oncology. What do he and we have in common? Michel summed it up as follows: "I too am involved in cosmetology cosmetology, but from the inside"!
With humor and kindness, Michel Crepin convinced us that doing better doesn't have to be complicated, and that it can make a big difference. He shared with us his recommendations on the "controllable" factors in our lives, particularly in terms of diet, his favorite subject*.
Organic food, fasting, dietary supplementsbut alsopesticides, endocrine disruptorswere just some of the topics discussed during this Skinschool. We were (pleasantly) surprised to learn that the pleasure we derive from doing things can, in the same way as good nutrition or stress management, have a positive impact on gene expression.
So when we say doing yourself good is already a step towards a better life... and better skin, it's not just a marketing ploy. It's scientific. Let's save our skin by living (and loving) better!
