When we think of makeup removal, we often wrongly think of micellar water, this multi-functional product that invaded our bathrooms a few years ago, however this product tends to be abrasive and strips the skin which means that it will gradually damage the hydrolipidic film which covers and protects the surface of the skin and dry it out. Furthermore, the use of cotton creates micro-lesions on the surface of the skin and its repeated use can sensitize the skin.
