You dreaded it as soon as you returned from vacation: the little “cloudy” symbol on the forecasts in your weather app. That's it, it's started: the start of the school year can also be felt in the fading sun. And there, often, there is panic: for many, this rhymes with loss of radiance and that famous glow which made you collect so many compliments on your return.
But your prayers have been heard by the Seasonly teams. We put our best agents on the job and here is our to do list for a glow that lasts until All Saints' Day (at least):
1. Drink lots and lots of water : for sure, it was more tempting in the middle of a heatwave when you had the impression of drying out like a prune if you didn't hydrate continuously. But you have to keep this good habit from now on, by drinking at least one liter of water per day. Even better: slices of fresh organic lemon that are left to “infuse” in a bottle, for the detox side which will help maintain a clear complexion.
2. Pamper your skin : hydration is key. Make sure to nourish your skin well to avoid the dry complexion effect and wrinkles that set in. For that, we recommend our new Rehydrating Jelly Mask: applied once or twice a week (as soon as you feel the need, in fact), it's a real shot of hydration for skin abused by modern life. Also a good ally is our Anti-Thirst Serum. Applied under your day and night cream, it is a companion to keep on hand. And even in the handbag, for a quick dose of hydration during the day.
3. Allow yourself new rituals : facial self-massage, thermal water mist, or even “facials”. Our Face Glow treatment at Skin Studio, for example, has been designed to maintain the skin's radiance all year round. In 30 minutes, the treatment revives microcirculation and stimulates collagen production for plumped and luminous skin, like “I’ve just returned from vacation”. Yes, it's miraculous. It's not for nothing that New Yorkers all go there at least once a week.
