Why choose Clean Beauty?
Because before treating your skin, you must start by respecting its integrity. It seems obvious. And yet in our actions every day it is not that simple. On the one hand, our skin is increasingly weakened by our stressed lives, by the air we breathe, the products we ingest.
And on the other, she is in contact with almost 70 ingredients on average every day. In other words, she is constantly overworked and attacked. So more permeable, to good ingredients but also to bad ones.
While we cannot control all external factors, we can clearly do better.
At Seasonly we intend to better respect the skin by systematically eliminating from our formulas what we consider to be undesirables :
- All parabens , even those that are still accepted today. In doubt about potential risks, we chose to be radical.
- Silicone powder , from plastic, which certainly gives an immediate soft finish but has no real activity.
- Mineral oils , of petrochemical origin (do not trust the reassuring word “mineral”!). They create an occlusive film to keep the skin artificially hydrated.
- PEGs , surfactants which help in formulation, but which contain many toxic impurities.
This is why avoiding certain ingredients is already working for more beautiful skin. Less but better, for better beauty.
